PAM Meets DJ Boboss
We shot, directed, and produced a mini-documentary for Pan-African Music as part of their ‘PAM Meets’ series. It tells the story of the enigmatic DJ Boboss; a self taught DJ and electrician from Kenya that is reknown for building his own DJ decks from discarded trash and household objects and organizing impromptu street parties. In this feature, Boboss demystifies the complex electronics behind his machine and opens up about his struggle to be understood as a kind of musical “mad scientist.”
